Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding is a thrilling water sport that involves riding a wakeboard across the water, propelled by a cable system (instead of a boat). It uses key techniques like maintaining balance on the board, shifting body weight to steer direction, and absorbing the water' s movement with your legs—blending the excitement of speed with the challenge of staying steady on the surface.
Your wakeboarding experience will start with gearing up in essential safety gear: a well-fitted life jacket to ensure buoyancy, and a impact-resistant helmet to protect your head from accidental bumps. Next, our coaches will guide you through tailored training—starting with beginner skills (like how to stand up from the water, basic balance drills, and simple direction changes) and progressing to advanced techniques (such as small jumps or controlled turns) based on your learning pace.
We host our wakeboarding activities at the Shanghai Bihai Jinsha Cable Wake Park, over a two-day weekend. This dedicated park has a smooth, safe cable system and calm water areas—perfect for both first-timers and those looking to level up. The two-day schedule lets you build skills gradually: Day 1 focuses on mastering basics with patient coaching, while Day 2 lets you practice what you' ve learned or try more advanced moves, making the most of your time on the water.
