Paragliding
Paragliding is flying through the air using a lightweight, inflatable wing (the paraglider), which is launched by running down a slope and lifted by natural air currents. It involves techniques like adjusting the wing’s angle to control direction, reading wind patterns to stay aloft, and making gentle descents—all while enjoying the panoramic views and the sense of freedom from above.
Your paragliding experience will start with being fitted with professional gear: a well-padded harness (to connect you to the wing), a helmet, and a wind-resistant jacket. This is followed by a clear safety briefing—covering basic wing control, takeoff/landing steps, and how to work with your instructor—so even first-timers can feel confident.
We offer two unique paragliding opportunities: On weekends, we organize casual paragliding experiences on the hills around Ningbo—perfect for those wanting a quick outdoor escape, with short but thrilling flights that let you take in the surrounding mountains and countryside. Every summer, we host a special paragliding licensing course in Inner Mongolia: It’s a rare chance to learn professional paragliding skills, complete the training required for a paragliding license, and fly over the vast Mongolian grasslands—truly an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience.
