Kitesurfing

Kitesurfing (or kiteboarding) is riding across water on a board while being propelled by a large, controllable kite, using techniques like kite steering to adjust direction, body balance to stay stable on the board, and speed control to match wind conditions—all while feeling the thrill of wind and waves.

Your kitesurfing journey (perfect for complete beginners!) will start with equipping you with beginner-friendly gear: a properly sized kite (matched to your weight and wind strength), a wakeboard-style kitesurfing board, a comfortable harness (to connect you to the kite), a protective impact vest, and non-slip water shoes. This will be followed by a beginner-focused safety briefing, covering land-based kite control practice, wind direction reading, and basic water-start steps to build your confidence.

Every summer, we organize kitesurfing trips to two ideal locations: Hainan and Pingtan (Fujian Province). Both spots offer steady summer winds, calm shallow waters (great for beginners), and beautiful coastal scenery—providing the perfect environment to learn kitesurfing from scratch. Whether you’ve never touched a kite before or want to pick up a new summer sport, these trips will guide you through every step, turning your first kite ride into a memorable outdoor experience.
