Sailing

Sailing is navigating waterways using a boat propelled by wind power, with the help of sails and control tools. It involves key techniques like adjusting the main sail and jib to catch wind, steering the tiller (or wheel) to change direction, and reading wind speed/direction to keep the boat stable—all while enjoying the fresh breeze and the rhythm of the waves.

Your sailing experience will start with being equipped with essential gear: a well-fitted life jacket, non-slip boat shoes (to avoid slipping on the deck), and a lightweight sun-protective jacket (for sunny days). This is followed by a simple safety briefing, where instructors will explain basic sailing terms, how to stay balanced on the boat, and emergency response steps—so even those new to sailing can feel at ease.

We organize sailing activities at our base near Ningbo, offering two fun experiences: For casual participants, you can simply ride on the sailboat, relax on the deck, and take in the scenic views of the surrounding water (like distant islands or lakeshores). For those seeking more excitement, we host friendly sailing races—you' ll work with a small team to adjust sails, steer skillfully, and chase other boats, turning the trip into a lively, competitive adventure.
