Digital Port Technologies Mini Open Day & AIOP research seminar

On 14 February, 2023, the Digital Port Technologies Lab held its first mini open day and AIOP (Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research) research group activity, inviting a number of professors from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering, their PhDs, and representatives of Ningbo Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Center to participate in academic discussions and exchanges. The event is divided into laboratory visits and interactive exchange sessions, aiming to promote friendly academic exchanges between multiple laboratories of the Department of Computer Science through this activity. This event showcased the laboratory's latest scientific research progress in the fields of digital twin, simulation optimization, 5G, VR, machine vision, and human-computer interaction.

This open day activity continued and expanded the content and form of previous open day activities, further enhanced the communication between laboratories in the Department of Computer Science, built a good platform for promoting scientific research teamwork, and contributed to promoting UNNC technology innovation and teamwork.

Professor Ruibin Bai, Director of Digital Port Technologies Lab and Head of Department of Computer Science, Professor Alain Chong, Deputy Director and Dean of Graduate School, Professor Dave Towey, Dr Jianfeng Ren and Dr Zheng Lu, Dr David Chieng presented. Some distinguished guests including Jiangjiang Ma, from Ningbo Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Center, and Ada Qian, Doris Du from UNNC RKE Department also took their time to pay a visit.
