Monday 25 April 12:00-13:00, Meet at the original Trio & move on to the Community Garden
Starting as the NottinGreen Farm, a small piece of our campus was set aside for garden plots and is now called the Community Garden. NottinGreen still keeps a few plots for students keen to try out if they have ‘green hands’ and patience enough, and the rest houses the Staff Gardening Club. We will meet at Trio at 12 for a lunchtime brew and a chat with seasoned gardeners. This will be followed by a walk to the garden to have a look at the activities happening there. Finally we will send you home with your window sill starter garden in a coffee cup (a used cup will be provided too if you BYOC’ed for the Trio beverage!)
