Wednesday 27th April 2-4 pm IEB122

The workshop will have participants playing an online game as a team competing with other teams to stabilize the global temperature with the lowest rise, and thus least environmental impact.

The theme is: “Awareness, Fun, and Practicality”.

Awareness, because we want to popularize basic knowledge and current status of climate change, and help more people understand behavioral impact on climate change. Fu, because it’s playing a game. And practicality – because participants will leave with down-to-earth sustainable life tips how we all can make a difference and get closer to the ultimate goal of sustainability.

The Climate Action Simulation game is a unique role-playing game. Participants will be divided into five groups and players given specific roles from sectors across business, government, civil society. Players gather together is to attend a global summit to negotiate a plan to limit the global warming. The impact of the proposals will be tested through the climate simulator.
