On March 25th, the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) visited the Schoole of Qilu Transportation at Shandong University. The UNNC delegation was led by Professor Yung-Tsang Chen, who introduced the current program of the department to their hosts. In attendance were colleagues from UNNC including Dr. Juan Wang, Dr. Bo Li, Dr. Jing Bie, and Dr. Weizhuo Shi.

The host institution was represented by Professor Yang, who provided an overview of the history, research, and teaching state of the Schoole of Qilu Transportation at Shandong University. Professor Yang highlighted the achievements of their institution, including recent research grants awarded and their academic staff. Also in attendance were Dr. Zhi Ge, Dr. Jianhong Wang, Dr. Kaiwei Chu, Dr. Jianqing Wu, Dr. Peizhi Zhuang, and Dr. Hongzhi Zhang from the Qilu Transportation Department.

During the visit, both parties had the opportunity to discuss their respective research areas and explore potential areas of collaboration. Professor Chen also invited the Schoole of Qilu Transportation to visit UNNC and suggested further exchanges between the two departments. The visit was a great opportunity for both institutions to learn from each other and to explore possibilities for future cooperation.
