
The Makerspace, on the second floor, is a collaborative workspace for all students and staff. It offers a variety of tools and equipment for handcrafting and painting, supporting hands-on learning, critical thinking, and creative exploration. Visit the Makerspace to develop your skills and bring your ideas to life.
Makerspace is open to all students and staff. Please book in advance:
- Book a making table for yourself/your group - one days in advance
- Book the whole space for events (approval required) - one days in advance
Rules and notes:
- Shared vs. Personal Tools: Materials and tools on designated walls are free to use. For specific tools or those in labeled boxes, please ask a staff member for assistance.
- Respect the Space: Clean up after yourself and return all borrowed materials when finished.
- Unfinished Projects: Tag your ongoing projects with your student ID and leave them on the designated shelf. Unclaimed projects will be cleaned up after a set period.
- Donate & Share: We welcome donations of tools and materials to expand our offerings. Contact library staff for more information.
- Meet the Makers!: Check out our "Maker Spotlight" shelf featuring student creations, contact information (with permission), and social media handles. Connect with fellow makers and learn from their expertise!
