Welcome from the Head

Greetings and welcome to the School of Education and English. The School of Education and English was created in September 2019 when the School of Education and the School of English merged. The school houses a range of departments and programmes providing a vibrant environment for teaching and research that are multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary. We offer a spectrum of undergraduate programmes, post-graduate taught programmes and post-graduate research programmes, which provide opportunities for academic and experiential learning that enhance your personal and professional growth.

Our research and education interests are diverse but our strong commitment to providing opportunities and diversity enables creative thinking across contexts. In all we do, we value:
