Schools and Department

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is comprised of four schools and one language centre. Our schools offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as PhD and research opportunities. Our language centre offers French, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students across the University.




School of Economics provides students with a rigorous training in economics and econometrics.

We comprises three excellent programme strands, including those in Education, English, and Interpreting and Translation.

International Communications

The largest school in FHSS and affiliated to the Department of Culture, Media and Visual Studies at the Nottingham UK campus.

International Studies

We have a decidedly British approach to international relations, paired with strengths in international and transnational history.
