In the “Mosaic” series, the broken mosaic works reveal more emotional, and it's one of the classic abstract works of BONETTI. 

The difference from “Mosaic” works in addition to the random form, more is the expression of colour. 

“Broken Mosaic" express more objective existing things in the world, which can be large enough like the universe and stars, also can be smaller things like buildings, mountains, rivers and seas. But the same is the way how BONETTI recognizes the world. He divides the world into parts, from macroscopic knowing to microscopic understanding, explores them separately, and then puts them together in his own way.

Bonetti was born in Bulgaria to a mother who was an art teacher mother. As an adult, he followed in the family footsteps and earned an art degree.

From his youth, Bonetti retained a taste for travel and discovery. He transcribes these images through painting in a process of destruction and transformation. His creative process is the result of several layers of acrylic paint worked with a brush or sponge. He then covers his work with resin so that the painting is protected and unchangeable…

From the classic painters, Bonetti retains light effects or detail work. In addition, American Abstract Expressionist painters (twentieth century) strongly influence his work, and Gerhard Richter (contemporary German artist) remains his greatest inspiration. 

Bonetti creates a new image in parallel with reality that represents the fragility of illusions and the ever-changing world. He leaves his work open to interpretation. His painting asks a question and it is up to the viewer to propose the answers.
