In this episode of FHSS Radio, we’re joined by Dr Zhennuo Song, a lecturer in the School of International Communications, to explore how social media is reshaping our lifestyles, identity, and emotional experiences. 

In this episode, we explore the social and mental challenges faced by university students with alumni Zhang Sixuan (2023 International Studies graduate from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, 2024 Sociology Master's graduate from the University of Cambridge) and Shao Yifei (2024 International Studies graduate, currently pursuing a Master's in Social Anthropology at the University of Oxford). They share their personal experiences with anxiety and doubt, using sociological and anthropological perspectives to understand these common struggles during their university years.

In this episode, we’re honoured to have Dr Yifei Cao and Dr Xiaoyu Zhang from the School of Economics join us. Starting with the basics, they’ll guide us through the challenges and misconceptions students face when managing money, share tips on budgeting and avoiding spending traps, and introduce simple financial tools to help manage daily expenses.
