The University Counselling Service offers a free and confidential service to all registered students at the University. Counselling is available in both English and Chinese and our professionally qualified counsellors have the skills and experience to assist with a wide range of problems.

  • Stress and pressure
  • Difficulty concentrating or lack of motivation
  • Sleeping difficulties
  • Concerns about the effects of alcohol or drugs
  • The death of a close friend or family member
  • Loneliness
  • Worries about work, study, friends and family
  • Relationship concerns
  • Difficulty coping with cultural differences
  • Feeling depressed, anxious, suicidal
  • Other personal and/or mental health problems

 

Worried about a friend?

 If you are worried about a friend, one of the counsellors can talk with you about the situation.  You can book an advisory appointment to speak to us. Counselling can support you and offer suggestions about where your friend may find help.
