Biography

She received extensive training in counselling for more than 10 years and mastered solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Most of her practical experience was accumulated at higher education institutions, she has also been trained in the division of psychiatry, so she is familiar with both developmental tasks of college-age young adults and mental health issues.

Her counselling expertise is in dealing with issues including depression, emotion regulation, self-exploration, relationships, sexual identity and acculturation. Her conceptualization model is based on Psychanalysis and Object Relations Therapy. In addition, she is been trained in solution-focus brief therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy could offer short-term counselling sessions. She is able to offer sessions in both English and Chinese.
