Living in China is a series of activities open to all UNNC students and staff, based on the original second class system. The project aims to help international students improve their Chinese language competency, enhance their Chinese cultural literacy, understand Chinese laws and regulations and employability within the country. Through a series of immersive activities, the project aims to lessen international students’ sense of strangeness and tension at their contact within the new environment, so as to better adapt themselves to study and integrate into the local life. This initiative also aims to enhance international student management and service. This activity opens to domestic staff and students at the same time, which aims to deepen the communication between different cultures and people.
