The Arts Centre workshop, originated form the DCL workshop, named after liberal arts education advocated by the late President Fujia Yang, aims to enrich students’ extracurricular experience through a series of interesting activities. It helps students expand the scope of knowledge, improve self-cultivation, and achieve holistic development. Currently, the Arts Centre Workshop consists of three series including Erudite series, Elegant series, and Versatile series. The curriculum design draws on international and local educational concepts and methods. The Arts Centre Workshop now offers a range of courses, including piano, ballet, oil painting, equestrianism, drama, modern dance, tea art, graphic design, digital media, and so on.

Elegance Series

In order to focus on elegant and chic life interests and life wisdom, 'Elegance' series carries out classes on ikebana, horse-riding and wine appreciation to expand and diversify students’ practical abilities, develop their extracurricular engagement, explore "small happiness" in life, care for their inner spiritual power, and strive towards their own ideal life.

Erudite Series

Erudite series belongs to the Arts Centre Workshop and aims to improve students' transferable skills through diverse extracurricular activities. The Erudite series allows students to experience visual design, music composition, video shooting and editing workshops to create an artistic and cultural atmosphere on campus, provides a platform to help cultivate students' aesthetic concepts, exercise artistic skills and develop artistic talents. We invite professionals from the industry to work with students to enhance their work and provide them with certificate of completion.

Versatile Series

The Versatile Series relies on the resources of the Arts Centre, which integrates theories with practice, unveiling the beauty of art in a perfect combination of movement and stillness, excavating artistic endowments while enhancing art atmosphere. Courses included in the series are designed to enhance the participants' theoretical and practical skills relating to art. All activities are supported or delivered on the premises of the Arts Centre, including piano, painting, dancing and others. We also invite industry practitioners to the campus to share their stories and experience. As a showcase of learning outcomes, we send excellent pieces of works to art competitions and exhibitions.
