German

German as a foreign language is becoming more and more important for Chinese learners. From 2010 to 2015 the number of learners at university level grew by almost 25%. This makes German one of the most popular second foreign languages in China.

China and Germany have very close economic ties with companies from both countries opening branches in the partner country. Already more than 5000 German companies have established branches in Greater China and the number is growing. As a result, the number of job opportunities for proficient learners of German is also increasing.

Our team of well-trained professionals consists of teachers from different parts of Germany which all contribute their individual knowledge and perspective of the German language and culture to your overall experience of learning German at UNNC. Our interactive group-work focused teaching style incorporates all four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading.

Studying German means to gain access to a rich and fascinating culture. It also enables you to make the most of your travels, not only in German-speaking countries, but in many other European countries where German is spoken. For students studying German at UNNC a wide range of exchange programs exists between Germany and China.
