Climbing Level System - University of Nottingham Ningbo China

At UNNC Sport we operate a Climbing Level card system, which determines your skill and level ability and also whether you can climb in an organised session or independently. The Climbing Level system also allows students or staff to supervise others, which is a great way of getting friends and family into climbing.

You can obtain your climbing level cards by attending club sessions for students or by attending ENGAGE sessions for staff.

UNNC Students

1. When you reach UNNC Climbing Level 2, you can climb anytime you want and can supervise up to two beginners.

2. Contact the Climbing Club to arrange your Level 1 test, and contact Armstrong Zhang (Adventure Sports Manager) to arrange your Level 2 test.

UNNC Staff

1. When you reach UNNC Climbing Level 1, you can climb anytime you want and can supervise up to two beginners.

2. Contact Armstrong Zhang (Adventure Sports Manager) to arrange tests.
