Multimedia Production for Teaching and Assessment
Based in the Library, the Learning Technologies team offers professional-grade recording and editing studios to help you create engaging teaching materials and to support students with coursework that requires video or podcast submissions. From polished lecture recordings to student-produced audio essays, our facilities make media production easy and accessible.
Audio and Video Recording Studio
Designed for teaching and learning purposes, the professional audio and video studio is equipped with state-of-the-art recording equipment for high-quality video and audio production. This studio is perfect for recording lectures, assessment materials, lab instructions, and practical demonstrations. Our media development team offers full consultation support from storyboard to export.
Podcast Room
Renovated in 2026 summer, the self-service podcast room is an acoustic-modified space equipped with user-friendly audio interfaces, condenser microphones and AI-Powered PTZ Webcam. It is ideal for recording mini-lectures, audio feedback, listening exercises, and student podcast assignments such as interviews. After recording, you may use the Editing Rooms next door to refine, caption, and export media products.
Media Assignment Support
We provide staff and student training on media assignments, covering visual design, sound, aesthetics, editing, and the effective use of available hardware and software. We also offer consultations on assessment and rubric design, along with practical solutions to develop students’ digital skills in such media projects.
