To better explore the ways that data science could potentially contribute to healthcare, “Workshop on Data Science and Health Economics: Mobility, Healthcare System, and Pandemic” was held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China on 3-4 June 2023.

The workshop was organised by the Centre for Health Economics, School of Economics, aiming to address different aspects of using big data and data analytics in healthcare from the health economics perspective. Top scholars from Harvard, Yale, John Hopkins, Peking, and Zhejiang University, as well as experts in the healthcare industry, attended the workshop and sparked meaningful discussions and debates.
