Quotes from new students

Starting new journey

After the Mid-Autumn Festival, just before the typhoon, I came to UNNC. Although it rained, with the help of the staff of the University, I completed my check-in smoothly. There are excellent teacher-student teams and scientific research conditions, rich campus activities and colorful campus culture, especially the lovely Nottingham duck and the beautiful bell tower. I look forward to starting my study and life here.

Juanfen Xu, FoSE

My name is Nick Tan, got my MS degree in Iowa State University. I was thrilled when I learned that I was admitted to a doctoral program of UNNC, and I happily accepted it. UNNC is one of few schools in China that are closely connected to the international academic society in a professional fashion, to which I'm very looking forward. Fact is, UNNC never stopped surprising me since I set foot on the campus, everything is so convenient, every guidance was so considerate, I don’t have to put my mind on anything except research.

Yuxiang (Nick) Tan, FoSE

I graduated from UNNC with a bachelor's degree. During my undergraduate studies, Prof. Fu inspired me to become interested in the field of organizational behavior. Thanks Prof. Fu for giving me the learning opportunity of becoming her research assistant, so as to learn knowledge and accumulate experience. I am deeply influenced by her words and deeds. I am very glad to officially start my academic journey as her doctoral student. I hope I can contribute to the development of humanistic leadership in the future.
