If you have been affected by an emergency or unforeseen circumstance. Please seek for assistance once you notice the situation.
The local Immigration Office does not offer fast-track or express services. If you urgently require your passport before the scheduled collection date, please contact Global Engagement Office and provide relevant evidence, such as a flight ticket. However, please note that there is no guarantee you will receive your passport before the collection date.
If you lose your passport, please report the loss at the municipal immigration office.

After obtaining a new passport from your embassy in China, please reach out to Global Engagement Office to apply for a new residence permit.
It is your responsibility to manage your visa while staying in China. Be aware that overstaying may result in a fine of 500 RMB per day, with a maximum fine of 10,000 RMB. In some cases, students may have their residence permit cancelled or face deportation. If you experience a visa overstay, please visit the Global Engagement Office for assistance.
