Entry requirements for applicants from China's Hong Kong region
Preliminary year (year one) entry

Students from Hong Kong may be considered for preliminary year with HKDSE results. Overall 12 scores with 4 subjects (including 3 main subjects and 1 elective at least, exclude Liberal Studies).

First division line or above with English score no less than 115.

Qualifying year (year two) entry
HKDSE |
Students from Hong Kong may be considered for qualifying year with HKDSE results of 4,4,4 or above. Applicants who get HKDSE’s English result of 4 or above can waive IELTS 6.5.

Form 6 Test: Overall get “Pass” with each subject get “Pass”.
Typically get average of 75% or GPA 3.0/4.0 in the complete High School Transcript, plus 80% in specific subjects e.g. Maths and Physics for the Engineering programmes. Hold IELTS with an overall score of 5.5 (no less than 5 in any element).

For graduates from high schools in Taiwan: Achieving "Good" or "Excellent" (前标) in the general scholastic ability test. For graduates from high schools in mainland China: Achieving "Average" or "Good" (均标)in the general scholastic ability test. Applicants must take the IELTS with an overall score of 5.5 or above (no less than 5 in any element).

- SAT test: get 1280 scores or above
- IB grades: get 30 scores or above, relevant requirements vary for each programe
