The Lab is an incubator for researchers to pursue research questions through digital tools, methods and practices. The Lab exhibits ongoing or completed projects that can be used as models for future research collaboration. It also provides a space with information about data, tools and methods that are used in creating published research projects, including the Data Scholarship Nottingham Advantage Award outputs created by students in collaboration with Research Librarians; and, collaborative data scholarship research and pedagogical projects that have been published.
The lab is also home to the Ningbo History Project which is seeking to employ digital technologies, art works and data from local gazetteers to represent Ningbo history in the past times.
