Data Scholarship is a term coined by Christine Borgman in 2015 to frame the complex set of relationships between data and scholarship. Data Scholarship focuses on the discipline of gathering data, managing data, processing data, analysing data and visualising data in the communication of research.

The Library delivers strategic initiatives:

  • a Data Scholarship Nottingham Advantage Award for student employability;

  • a Digital Scholarship Lab;

  • and, collaborative research and pedagogical data-driven projects and publication.
