The University’s Education Foundation won the title of "5A Social Organization", the highest level of its kind, according to the 2019 evaluation results of Social Organizations in Zhejiang Province released today.

The evaluation grade is an intangible asset of UNNC Education Foundation and is an important symbol for the Foundation’s credibility and professionalism.

The Official Evaluation of Social Organizations, initiated by China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs and conducted by Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau, is an important mechanism for the government to strengthen supervision and standardise guidance to social organisations and foundations. The evaluation grades are as follows: full score is 1000, 900 and above is graded 5A, 800 and above is graded 4A, 700 and above is graded 3A.

On 28 October 2019, a group of evaluation experts arrived on campus and started the evaluation process for UNNC Education Foundation. The evaluation is based on the four main indexes: basic condition, internal governance, work performance, and social reputation. After one-day intense examination and evaluation, the preliminary result for UNNC Education Foundation is 969, which is in the range of 5A. After the final approval of the evaluation committee, the Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau releases the final evaluation result today.
