Entry requirements for applicants from India at Undergraduate level

Preliminary year (year one)

70%+ for CBSE and HSC Boards, 65%+ for West Bengal in HSSC - Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) or

85%+ for SSC - Secondary School Certificate (Class X)

Qualifying year (year two)

Class 12 or Standard 12 (10+2) examinations from CBSE, ISCE or a state board are acceptable for admission into our bachelor's programmes. We will generally ask for the best of four subjects, and any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in the best four subjects including 85% in Maths).

Students who have taken a 3-year diploma after class 11 instead of the class 12 exams can be considered for second-year entry to our bachelor's programmes.

Typical offers for a course requiring A-level grades of ABB/BBB would be:

CBSE and ISC– 80%

West Bengal – 70-75%

Other State Boards – 85%

70% in Year 12 English can be considered as meeting the minimum English language entry requirement, although some courses may ask for a higher grade.

We do not accept the local language as one of the four subject grades on which we base an offer, and many schools also exclude Environmental Education from offer grades.
