Mr Kun Tit Sang, Executive Vice President of Hybribio, delivered a speech at the donation ceremony on the university campus in Ningbo on 24 September, accompanied by an alumna who is now a senior member of staff in the organisation. Several members of staff from CBI also presented their current research projects.

“We are proud to make an RMB 5 million gift to the University of Nottingham Ningbo China fund established in Professor Yang’s name. Research is at the heart of how we can make advances in areas such as healthcare, solving issues that affect us all and providing solutions. Working with UNNC, we hope to continue Professor Yang’s work in inspiring generations of researchers through education. We will keep the ‘spark’ of knowledge economy and technology innovation and support talents to realise their potential to change the world and our communities for the better.”
