Advanced Mechanical and Manufacturing Research Centre

The Advanced Mechanical and Manufacturing (AMM) Research Centre is a pioneering multidisciplinary hub dedicated to integrating cutting-edge technologies across mechanical systems, advanced manufacturing, and mobility solutions. With a vision to deliver internationally benchmarked engineering education, AMM bridges academia and industry through four core research pillars:

  • ‌Thermofluids‌ – Optimizing energy conversion and thermal management systems.
  • ‌Materials and Structures‌ – Developing additive manufacturing, material processing and structure design.
  • ‌Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing‌ –Investigating innovative manufacturing technologies for high-value product fabrication.
  • ‌Dynamics of Mechanical Systems and Control‌ – Enhancing precision in automation and vehicle dynamics.

By fostering global collaborations, AMM drives innovation to address real-world engineering challenges, positioning itself at the forefront of technological advancement and industrial impact.

It is my great privilege to lead the AMEMM Research Centre, a dynamic hub where cutting-edge research meets real-world impact. Our mission is clear: to advance the frontiers of mechanical engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and mobility solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration and industry-driven innovation. At AMEMM, we focus on four transformative research pillars: ‌Thermofluids‌ – Pioneering sustainable energy systems and thermal management technologies. ‌Materials and Structures‌ – Designing advanced materials and optimizing structures for wide range of applications. ‌Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing‌ – Harnessing advanced manufacturing technologies to automate production. ‌Dynamics and Control‌ – Enhancing precision in mechanical systems and autonomous mobility. We are committed to fostering global partnerships, nurturing talent, and delivering solutions that address today’s engineering challenges. Together, let’s shape a future where technology drives progress and sustainability.
