DSEE has around 15 experienced and engaging teachers from different countries and regions, providing quality teaching of the content modules.
Our vision
DSEE is a unique department within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, focusing on how students learn, think, and transition into higher education. Currently, DSEE offers modules in science, engineering, mathematics and computer science to all Preliminary Year students in FoSE.
The Preliminary Year education aims to:
- build academic and independent learning skills.
- develop English for academic purposes.
- introduce core scientific and engineering concepts.
- integrate creativity through STEAM.
DSEE emphasizes education innovation, pedagogy, and interdisciplinary thinking.
