Cong Cao, Professor of Innovation Studies
Professor of innovation studies, is one of the prolific scholars in social studies of science, technology and innovation in China. He has published extensively in scientific elite, human resources in science and technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in nanotechnology and biotechnology; and the reform of scientific technology system. He is the author of GMO China: How Global Debates Transformed China’s Agricultural Biotechnology Policies. He is a co-author of Innovation in China: Challenging the Global Science and Technology System. He was also invited to write a Chinese science chapter for the 2020 UNESCO Scientific Report. Professor Cao’s research has been supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), European Union, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), etc.
Jiarui Zhang, Assistant Professor in Economics
Assistant professor in economics, graduated from Renmin University of China with a double degree in economics and mathematics, then obtained a doctorate in economics from the University of Munich, Germany. He once worked at China Europe International Business School, then served as the chief economist of Hexin Asset Management Co., Ltd., and researcher at the International Monetary Institute of Renmin University of China. His main research interests are macroeconomic theory, economic growth, business cycle, monetary policy, financial market and China's economic reform. So far, he has published more than ten articles in Journal of Comparative Economics, International Journal of Finance and Economics, China Finance, View Financial and Economy & Nation Weekly.
Chaoyan Wang, Assistant Professor in Economics
Assistant professor in economics, once served in the University of York and the University of Nottingham. Her main research interests are asset pricing, financial market microstructure, behavioural finance and financial technology. She has participated in two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and has published academic articles in Research in International Business and Finance, Development and Financial Reform in Emerging Economies, Proceedings of International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence, Proceedings of Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns.
Jingong Huang, Assistant Professor in Economics and Doctoral Supervisor
assistant professor in economics and doctoral supervisor, graduated from the University of Melbourne with a doctorate degree in economics. His main research interests are microeconomic growth, industrial economics, network economics and financial risk propagation. He has publish an article about financial risk in Journal of Financial Market and has been invited many times to participate in domestic and international economic conferences.
