During field trips, our members have visited places such as Alibaba, China's largest Internet company, to experience the development of China's economy. Students have also visited the China Silk Museum to experience the process of silk production and its importance as a national cultural heritage.
In previous field trips, the group firstly visited the Geely Chunxiao Car Manufacturing Plant, whose highly automated and professional workshop has left an astounding impression. In addition, the Geely Group introduced several models that they independently developed. The students experienced the hands-free voice function of the on-board car system first-hand.
In the second field trip, we visited the China Tea Museum. Firstly, the students learnt about the tea culture from all around the world. Secondly, the students experienced tea leaf picking themselves. In the end, the workers taught a brief tea ceremony: how to pour the tea and how to handle the utensils adequately, which was fascinating.
