We are proud of our talented graduates and we believe the most effective way to meet your business needs is to develop a long-term "talent pipeline" through engagement with our students from when they arrive at the University. It's through this long-term engagement that we believe your company will benefit most in the competitive graduate recruitment market.
Direct links to students
Our Careers Development Office can facilitate direct links with academic schools and departments to put you in touch with the right people to support your recruitment targets, as well as long-term student engagement.
Based upon your selection criteria, only relevant students will be contacted regarding opportunities with your company.
Mentoring and volunteering
We invite businesses to mentor students and alumni in developing their career plans, as a way to develop relationships between our students and your organisation.
One of the strongest ways to engage with our students is to meet them face-to-face. A presentation on the opportunities your company has to offer is a great way to do this.
You can book a time and venue to present to our students online and receive up-to-date information about student sign-ups. After the event, you can also receive feedback about student attendance at the presentation.
Each year we hold internship fair in the middle of April for students, while employers can contact us to organise 'sector-specific events' which are tailored to your company. We work hard to prepare these events to ensure the best return on your investment.
