I have been Teaching General and Exam Preparation English since 2005, mostly in Oxford (England). I also worked as a Speaking and Writing IELTS examiner in various locations in the UK and a Cambridge CELTA tutor in the UK, Ireland, Poland, and China. I have taught students, examined IELTS candidates, and delivered teacher training courses to both novice and experienced teachers from all over the world. Before joining the CELE team at UNNC, I tutored on pre-sessional EAP courses for the University of Nottingham in the UK. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, and trying new food.

I'm interested in the challenges faced by EAP students in cross-cultural contexts, the roles teachers and students have in overcoming these, and the ways in which technology can affect learning.
