Biography

Dr Yuanting Wen is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Business Administration Postdoctoral Research Station, Nottingham University Business School China, University of Nottingham Ningbo China. She received her PhD from the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on leadership, employee entrepreneurial behaviour, psychological empowerment, and innovation in organisations. Her work particularly examines how leadership expectations, leadership discrepancies, and organisational contexts shape employees’ proactive and entrepreneurial behaviours, using both configurational and variance-based approaches. Her broader interests also include innovation management, organisational behaviour, and science-driven innovation ecosystems. She is committed to developing rigorous and internationally oriented research with both theoretical and practical relevance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Formulate research objectives and develop proposals for individual and collaborative research projects;
  • Plan and conduct research using appropriate methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, interpretation of findings, and critical evaluation of relevant literature;
  • Produce high-quality research outputs for publication and support the dissemination of research at national and international conferences;• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to the preparation of internal and external research grant applications, proposals, and related documentation;
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners to support knowledge exchange and future research collaboration;
  • Support the coordination of research-related activities, including conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, and online dissemination;
  • Engage in professional development and undertake other research-related duties as reasonably required.
