Biography
Shiqi (Chili) Bai is currently a Research Fellow at Nottingham University Business School China. She holds a PhD specializing in Information Systems, a Master of Science degree in International Management (Business Analytics), and the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. Her research interests include multimodality, misinformation dissemination and human-AI interactions. Her papers have been accepted by conferences and workshops such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), and Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS).
Responsibility
- Research Execution: Plan and conduct research using recognized methodologies, analyze data, and generate new insights to achieve research objectives,
- Publication & Dissemination: Write up research findings for high-impact publications and present results at national and international conferences.
- Grant Application: Identify funding opportunities and assist in writing bids and proposals for research grants from external and internal bodies.
- Project Management: Plan and manage own research activities and deadlines, resolving problems and organizing necessary resources and facilities.
- Collaboration & Networking: Build relationships with internal and external contacts to foster collaboration, including coordinating research networks and digital presence.
- Academic Contributions: Collaborate with colleagues on course development and joint research projects within shared areas of interest.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous training and professional development to maintain expertise and awareness in the research field.
