NUBS China Consulting and X-Culture Programme
NUBS China Consulting (NCC) and X-Culture Programme provide students with the opportunities to extend themselves beyond classroom. This module enables students to engage with global organizations in a range of industries to build their employability skills and real-word work experience over the course of a semester.

NCC Project Steps:
Step 1: Apply to join the programme by a specific deadline. Applicants are competitive and limited number of students are needed for projects this term.
Step 2: Interdisciplinary teams of 5-7 students will be selected based on the skills required for each project.
Step 3: Upon your selection into the programme, student will be introduced to the academic advisor and client. The module convenor will clarify the project scope and relevant details in the kick-off sessions.
Step 4: The project will last 8 weeks, and each team has to submit a formal report to the client and the module convenor; to get the certificate, the team has to attend and present in the final event.
X-Culture Project Steps:
Step 1. Apply to join the programme as soon as possible by 5pm, 28/09/2022. The first 20 students registered with us will be enrolled and invited to participate in the online test of X-culture committee (US).
Step 2. Students who get the "PASS" (online test) will be officially assigned to different projects and work with team members all around the world.
Step 3. Students will need to attend the tutorials on site regularly, and the module instructor will give more details in the kick-off sessions.
Step 4. The project will last 8 weeks, and students will need to successfully complete the project and be recognized by the X-Culture committee (US); besides, students have to submit a formal report to the module convenor; to get the certificate, students have to attend the final event.
Application Criteria
Our intention is to capture the brightest and best students from all background. Building a diverse talent pool without compromising our standards is very important to us. When evaluating your application, we look for evidence of:
- Outstanding potential either evident in academic achievement or through unique extracurricular achievements like running a business, leading a student
- Excellent communication, collaboration and analytics skills
- Minimum 2nd year (for most projects)
