Application deadline for September 2024 entry

The last day to submit an application for September 2024 entry is 31 May 2024.

Applications can be made pending final results or during the final year of school / university education. Conditional offers will be made where appropriate and students will have until 15 July 2024 to provide their results such as English language test scores and/or diploma certificates. 

The university will make exceptions for students studying qualifications where results will only be officially released after 15 July 2024 including the HKDSE, GCSE and A-level results. 

Please note you should not submit any supporting materials (including essays) that you would like to be returned to you. It is the University's policy not to return any application materials.

What should my application include?

Your application should include the following materials:

  • One recommendation letter on headed paper, signed and/or stamped
  • Transcript of school exam results (completed or results so far)
  • High School Certificate
  • English language test score report if already received (e.g. IELTS or PTE)
  • Personal statement
  • One photocopy of the main pages from your passport
  • One 2 inch color bareheaded photo with white background (Note: the head must occupy two thirds of the photo; photo dimension is no less than 320 × 240 pixels, the aspect ratio is 4:3; the file size is between 100kb - 500kb; jpg or jpeg format)
  • Identification document for applicants from China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions
    • Hong Kong - a copy of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card
    • Macao - a copy of Macao Permanent Identity Card
    • Taiwan - a copy of China's mainland travel permit for Taiwan residents, front and back

Documents submitted in a language other than English must be accompanied by a complete English translation made by an accredited translator.

You should be prepared to provide original documents or original certified copies of supporting documents at registration and upon request at any time. Failure to do so may result in your candidacy being rejected.
