Centre for Research on Sino-Foreign Universities (CRSFU)

The Centre for Research on Sino-Foreign Universities was founded on April 2011. The Centre performs functions such as summarizing the educational experiences of UNNC, researching on reforms of higher education both at domestic and abroad and exploring the new models, demands and features of Sino-foreign universities. It aims to solve the practical and theoretical problems in the process of running the university and to provide academic foundations for successfully cultivating international talents with both international vision and patriotic feelings.

In 2014, Centre for Research on Sino-Foreign Universities hosted the “International Forum on Building High Level Sino-Foreign Universities”. The Centre published the collection “Pursuing the University Dream: the 10 Years’ Exploration of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China” and had extensive academic exchanges with Chinese and foreign representatives in the conference. Since its establishment, the Centre has achieved a number of research results including the book “On the High Level Sino-Foreign Universities: Theoretical Construction and Practical Exploration”, 25 papers published in core journals and authoritative newspapers including “On the Construction of Values Education of Sino-Foreign Universities” published in Educational Research, “Exploring a New Mode of Party Building in Sino-Foreign Universities” published in China Higher Education and “On the Questions and Suggestions of Party Building and Ideological and Political Work in Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools” published in Guangming Daily (Internal Reference) and many research projects above provincial and ministerial level like the General Project of National Social Science Fund (Pedagogy) “On the Construction of High Level Sino-Foreign Universities” and the Project Entrusted by the Ministry of Education “On the Situation and Development of the Ideological and Political Work in Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools”.
