Research at NUBS China

At Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China), our research is underpinned by the aspiration to be innovative in our theoretical approaches and methodologies, international in our standards and research topics, and interactive in disseminating our work to both academic and practitioner audiences.

Researchers operate within an environment that provides an impressive package of support and encourages the highest standards of work.

Being located in Zhejiang, one of China’s leading provinces for business and entrepreneurship, provides us with many opportunities. Through joint research activities with colleagues, co-authors in international universities and collaborators in local institutions, we seek to build a base of knowledge on China that contributes both to academic dialogues and underpins our teaching programmes.

Our academics possess expertise in the full range of disciplines normally found in a business school. Particular areas of strength include entrepreneurship, finance, as evident from two major research centres, and international business. We seek to enhance collaboration across these and other areas, within NUBS China, the wider University community and the global Nottingham family.
