reUNNC club was established in 2021 and since then it aims to promote environmental awareness and action on campus by encouraging responsible consumption. Believing that sustainability is a practice, reUNNC creates opportunities for the campus community to turn everyday actions into meaningful environmental solutions.

 What does FreeLooping mean?

FreeLooping is a simple way to share and reuse items on campus. Instead of throwing things away, you can leave them for others to use, and find things you need for free. It's good for the planet and our community.

How do we promote reThinking and rePurposing?

We regularly organize re-think and re-purpose workshops. Here, UNNCers learn to see trash as treasure, creatively converting everyday waste into functional art and practical goods. These events are designed to spark creativity, challenge our throwaway culture, and build a community around giving objects a second life.

How do we promote reUsing?

We organize Flea Markets for students and kids on campus. This direct extension of an item's life cycle reduces waste, conserves resources, and teaches younger generations the value of a circular economy in a fun, practical way.

Additionally, we lead the Bring Your Own Container (BYOC) initiative. This program reduces the use of disposable tableware on campus and promotes the use of reusable containers.
