Course Outline
Since 2015, Research lectures series is open for domestic undergraduate students. Research lectures series is one of the pathways in Chinese Culture Course, which complements Practice course with the approach of “China’s positions” and “pluralistic perspectives”, bringing guest lecturers outside university. The course is delivered in lectures. Students can attend lectures according to their interests.
Research lectures series take “culture”, “China”, and “Chinese culture” as scope and inheriting Chinese culture as mission. These series deliver lectures in perspectives of comparative study in order to discuss issues related to humanities and societies from different angles with students.
The course is delivered mainly in Mandarin, partly in both Mandarin and English. It systematically discusses academic research and practical issues and aims to develop students with comprehensive moral and aesthetic cultivation, together with the ability to reflect and learn from their life and the world.
