Sports – Showdown (for all)
Content | Time and Venue | Apply Link |
Showdown is currently the most popular sport among the visually impaired community! It is the only sport in which blind individuals can participate independently without the assistance of others. The one-on-one gameplay mode makes the entire game interesting. After putting on a blindfold, players can only rely on their hearing to determine the direction in which the small ball is rolling on the table, which greatly tests their reflexes. Showdown is a sport that can be played by individuals regardless of disabilities, athletic abilities, religious beliefs, age, gender, cultural background, or economic status.

This is a card game that challenges stereotypes about "disability" and promotes awareness of disability inclusion. For various reasons, there aren't many integration scenarios between non-disabled and disabled individuals, as well as different types of disabilities. As a result, it's possible to unintentionally offend disabled individuals due to certain stereotypes. This game aims to help players recognize the stereotypes, express kindness better, and also understand that achieving equality is able to enhance in our daily lives.
