International PGT scholarship
We offer various scholarships for international students which aim to reward excellence and promote diversity among our student body. Based on our data, nearly 30% of our undergraduate students and over 40% of our postgraduate students were awarded scholarships for their entry. Once enrolled, current students are eligible for additional merit and/or performance-based scholarships and awards which covers approximately 32.5% of our whole student body.

* Please note that students are eligible to receive one entry-based Nottingham scholarship award and one progresion-based award during their academic study at UNNC. Should students be considered for two awards, the highest award will be automatically granted.”
Nottingham Global Full Scholarship
Value of the award
- Nottingham Global Full scholarship is worth RMB 110,000 per student (RMB 100,000 for HMT students), equivalent of 100% toward first year of postgraduate tuition fee respectively.
- This scholarship is an entrance scholarship only. The fees will be waived from students' one-year's tuition fee or will be refunded to students if full tuition fee is paid.
Eligibility
- Be an overseas applicant who submitted the application.
- Merit-based selection based on outstanding academic achievement having achieved at minimum requirements of UK first class (70) or equivalent, as determined at the time of admission.
How to apply
Separated application for Nottingham Global Full Scholarship is required. In order to complete the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship application, a completed scholarship application form needs submitting via online application system by the designated deadline. In addition, due to the nature of competition, applicants will be automatically considered to the next eligible scholarships available should he/she misses the first round of selection until the quota is filled.

Nottingham Global Half Scholarship
Value of the award
- Nottingham Global Half scholarships is worth of RMB 55,000 per student (RMB 50,000 for HMT students), equivalent of 50% toward first year of postgraduate tuition fee respectively.
- This scholarship is an entrance scholarship only. The fees will be waived from students' one-year's tuition fee or will be refunded to students if full tuition fee is paid.
Eligibility
- Be an overseas applicant who submitted the application.
- Merit-based selection based on outstanding academic achievement having achieved at minimum requirements of UK upper-second class (65) or equivalent, as determined at the time of admission.

Nottingham Global A Quarter Scholarship
Value of the award
- Nottingham Global A Quarter Scholarship is worth RMB 27,500 per student, equivalent of 25% toward first year of postgraduate tuition fee respectively.
- This scholarship is an entrance scholarship only. The fees will be waived from students' one-year's tuition fee or will be refunded to students if full tuition fee is paid.
Eligibility
- Be an overseas applicant who submitted the application.
- Merit-based selection based on outstanding academic achievement having achieved at minimum requirements of UK upper-second class (60) or equivalent, as determined at the time of admission.

Zhejiang/Ningbo Government Scholarship
Value of the award
- 30,000RMB for postgraduate students
Students who would like to apply for this scholarship should hold, or be on course to achieve a 2:1. You will need to prepare the following documents and submit in your online application system.

Central and Eastern European Countries Scholarships
RMB 30,000 for full time postgraduate students
Students from Central and Eastern European Countries will be directly awarded CEEC Scholarship in June each year. The countries include Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
Family Scholarship
An one-off 10% fee reduction for the children, brothers, sisters, husbands or wives of students who are currently registered on award bearing full-time postgraduate master courses at the University of Nottingham Ningbo or who have already successfully completed award-bearing courses.
Please make application in the application hub system. Students are required to submit official documents (Birth Certificate) to prove their relationship with the family member.
Alumni Scholarship
In recognition of the academic ability of University of Nottingham graduates, students applying for full-time postgraduate studies at University of Nottingham Ningbo China and who have previously studied at undergraduate level at University of Nottingham, UK, China or Malaysia are entitled to a 15% tuition fee scholarship for maximum three years.
No application is required for this scholarship. However, students are required to send official documents (Degree Certificate) to prove that they graduated from University of Nottingham.
