DANN page

DANN was established as a peer-based advisory group to promote a positive work environment. It is recommended in the Grievance Policy as one of several options for staff to resolve conflicts informally.

Examples of problems staff bring to DANN include bullying, harassment and exclusion such as being:

  • Bullied by a student or a member of staff.
  • Teased or picked on because of a personal characteristic such as age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability etc.
  • Abused physically or verbally, including electronically or in a virtual / cyber space.
  • Excluded from work or social activities which they feel they should normally be involved in, in a manner they think is unfair.
