To drive a diverse and inclusive environment at UNNC, we are pleased to announce the launch of the AY2024-25 EDI Calendar. With joint efforts of faculties, departments, and individuals, the EDI calendar highlights key events in addition to training sessions and diversity awareness dates, which the University will celebrate throughout the year. The calendar has been developed to keep staff and students aware of the EDI-related activities and provide a helpful reference resource.

Key Events

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Week (EDI Week)

Along with International Women’s Day, we celebrate the EDI Week every year with a series of events promoting diversity, inclusivity, and equity in our community. Join us for exciting interactive sessions tailored for staff and students.

Disability Awareness Campaign

UNNC runs Disability Awareness Campaign every year to echo the theme of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD), which falls on the 3rd of December. We call on every student and member of staff in the UNNC community to learn from the experiences of people living with disabilities.

Living in China

Living in China is designed to moderate international staff and students' solitariness and tension at their contact with the new environment, so as to better adapt themselves to integrate into the local life. The Living in China series also carries the purpose of deepening communication between different cultures and people.

Culture Event

UNNC is committed to creating a sense of belonging among groups and individuals with different cultural and social backgrounds. In celebration of the cultural diversity represented by the UNNC staff family, a combination of various cultural activities will be delivered throughout each academic year.
