The paper titled "Construction and Application of the Digitalisation of Masters and Doctoral Education Management Platform of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China: A Case Study of the Portal", authored by Evelyn Lin, Director of Graduate School, and Claire Shi, Senior Officer of Graduate School, won the coveted Outstanding Case Award at the prestigious 2024 Academic Annual Conference of the Information Management Committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education.

The conference brought together distinguished experts and professionals in postgraduate education, including members of the Ministry of Education and the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, leaders of provincial and municipal regulatory authorities, leaders of various university graduate schools, invited experts, and leaders of relevant enterprises.

Under the overarching theme of "Advancing Educational Informatisation, Facilitating Educational Reform and Innovation", the annual conference featured six keynote speeches and three parallel sessions covering a wide range of topics, from the impact and innovation of information technology in graduate student recruitment to education management. Discussions also explored the application of artificial intelligence technology in graduate education and the innovation of digitalisation in graduate education management models, among other cutting-edge topics.

The winning case showcased the pioneering efforts of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China in building a digital platform for managing postgraduate research (PGR) students. By creating a feature-rich and user-friendly portal website, the platform provided comprehensive and tailored learning support and services to PGR students. This has not only raised the level of informatisation in UNNC's management of PGR education, but also laid a solid foundation for innovation in the PGR education reform landscape.

The recognition received by Graduate School not only validates UNNC's progress and excellence in information technology, but also underscores the institution's capacity for innovative education management. Looking ahead, Graduate School remains steadfast in its commitment to spearheading the digitalisation of education management and nurturing the talents of tomorrow.
