Fees and Scholarships

Tuition Fees 2012/13 (Home Students)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Postgraduate Courses: RMB 80,000 per annum for one year courses and RMB60, 000 per year for the two-year programme

For the MSc degrees in the Division of Sustainable Development, students are registered in the UK at the University of Nottingham and will be charged at the Nottingham UK international student rate.

Additional Costs

Accommodation: RMB 4,800 per year 

Books: Approx. RMB 2,500 per year (actual amount will be calculated and settled at the end of the academic year)

Living expenses:   Approx. RMB 1,000 per month  

 

Non-competitive Scholarships

Alumni Scholarship

A 10% fee reduction for students applying for postgraduate studies at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China and who have previously studied at undergraduate level in The University of Nottingham UK, China or Malaysia.

Family Scholarship

A 10% fee reduction for the children, brothers, sisters, husbands or wives of students who are currently registered on award bearing courses at The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China or who have already successfully completed award-bearing courses.

 

Competitive Scholarships

These scholarships are designed to reward postgraduate students with outstanding academic performance on a competitive basis.

President's Scholarship & Provost's Scholarship

For students in the two-year postgraduate programmes, there are two levels of scholarship: President's Scholarship and Provost's Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic results in the previous academic year.  The amount of each scholarship and the ratio of winners are as follows:

 * Allocation of all the above awards is administered by the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China and require no additional application process.
