Dr Georgios Kapogiannis the Director of the MSc in Geospatial Engineering with BIM leaded the team to participate in the 2nd BIM Ningbo Competition! As part of the module Global Smart Cities integrated with BIM he developed a team of PhD, Undergraduate and Postgraduate International students to submit the topic with title:

An Integrated and Intelligent Campus

The students applied what they learnt in theory. In fact they used different technologies during Covid-19 to collaborate and develop the collaborative culture for this type of projects. In 2018 Dr Georgios Kapogiannis shown the need to develop this culture through education. This was a clear success on how Covid -19 push Digitalszation and Innovation in Smart Cities and however, to integrated technologies to support the operation of modern campuses.

The integrating capacity of different technologies by international participants Indonesia, Nepal, Colombia and China during and post the Covid-19 period.

Our MSc programmes aims to develop the next generation of Geo-BIM Experts by offering the state of the art teaching facilities and technologies that will allow them to be competent, innovative and critical thinkers. Noted that the MSc in Geospatial Engineering with BIM is a joint programme between the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture and Built Environment.
